This was a large scale digital graphic created for a scene in the short film, Pink Flags. The direction was to create something that embodied the retro, 1960's ice skating rink feel. To accomplish that I researched and created a moodboard with type and color treatments of that time period to get a better sense of how to proceed. I chose the typeface Righteous from Google Fonts, and applied stylistic elements such as the snowflake flourishes, halftone treatment, and a riso print effect.
